On 23rd January, Steff Wright, CEO and Sara Bird, Marketing Consultant of Gusto Homes gave a guest lecture for postgraduate students studying the Marketing of Luxury module as part of their MSc in Marketing with Luxury Brands.

Gusto Homes is an Award Winning company of LABC’s East Midlands Building Excellence Awards.  They have been at the forefront of green living development.  Their products involve advanced energy efficient homes with unique design and technology, a part of those entail luxurious features in modern society.  Dr Jialin Hardwick, programme leader for MSc Marketing with Luxury Brands welcomed the guests who were pleased to see the students engaged in real world marketing professional practices and being able to apply theories learned from the course by working with the company.

Students enjoyed the experience and were actively engaged in conversations with the guests following the lecture.  They are working with Gusto Homes on a Postgraduate student project on marketing research, Marketing of Luxury.  Steff and Sara look forward to seeing them again in April for their report and presentation on the project.

We would like to thank our guests for their inspirational speech, and support of the University’s teaching, learning and research.  We would also like to thank the University’s Reseaerch and Enterprise Department, and the Marketing Group at the Lincoln International Business School for their continued support.
